Vice-President of Egypt Essam Al-Haddad has said that Bessar al-Assad regime was playing with fire.
Al-Haddad's remarks came after the Akcakale incident in which at least five people were killed and nine others wounded by Syrian artillery shells that landed in the south-eastern town of Akcakale at the Turkish-Syrian border on Wednesday.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency correspondent, al-Haddam stated that Bessar al-Assad went over the limits after striking neighboring countries.
"Egypt does not accept any attack under no circumstance from one country to another. It is Turkey's right to take steps and approach to NATO as member of the organization," said Al-Haddad.
Al-Haddad stated that Egypt was supporting Turkey's reaction to the incident.
