Political groups, who are supporting the new constitution in Egypt, are calling on opposition to accept the results of the referendum on the constitution.
The second and final stage of ballot took place in the weekend, and majority of the Egyptians supported the new constitution.
According to unofficial results, the new constitution got support of 64 percent of the voters. The turnout was around 34 percent with a total 25 million eligible Egyptians to vote.
Nour Party central executive board member Yunus Mahyun told AA on Monday that supportive votes of Egyptian people meant that the country would take steps on the path to stability and that legal institutions would be set up.
Salafi Front spokesperson Khaled Saeed said that Egyptian people said 'yes' to the new constitution despite the counter-campaigns of media organs and pressures.
This result shows that Egyptian people prefer Islam, said Saeed, adding that the objection of opposition to referendum results would not change anything.
Meanwhile, Egyptian Higher Election Board member Abdel Rahman Behlul told AA that official results of the referendum could be announced on Tuesday, adding that they had three days to announce the results according to laws.
