Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi is getting prepared to turn over his authorities to Shura Council following the referendum on constitution.
Egyptian presidency sources told AA on Tuesday that Morsi would deliver a speech soon, and announce that he was turning over his authorities to Shura Council, upper chamber of Parliament.
After the adoption of new constitution, previous constitutional regulations will become null and void, and the legislation authority will belong to Shura Council.
Morsi, during his speech, will call on political parties for a dialogue to set a road map for the new period and to eliminate the polarization which emerged in the country during referendum period.
Under the new constitutional regulations, legislative authority, which is currently held by Morsi, will be turned over to Shura Council until parliamentary elections are held two months later.
