Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi on Monday requested from the Egyptian Interior Ministry to implement the laws for every one on an equal basis in order to contain the incidents of violence in the country.

Speaking at a press conference in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Monday, the spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, Yasir Ali stressed that every citizen of theirs was equal and that President Mursi asked the Interior Ministry to implement the laws for every one.

"President Mursi has condemned the attacks on political party buildings, media organizations and public offices. Such violence can not be accepted. Our President Mursi is making a call on all Egyptians to refrain from violence," Yasir Ali noted.

"The Egyptian Presidency is doing all it can to prevent violence. While every one has freedom to express himself/herself, private and public buildings should not get harmed while a person is expressing his/her thoughts," Yasir Ali underlined.
