Tunisia names new ministers after job protests

Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali on Wednesday named a new youth minister in a partial government reshuffle that spared major government portfolios after rare violent protests by jobless youth.

In addition to the Youth and Sport portfolio, Ben Ali appointed new trade and handicrafts, communication and religious affairs ministers, TAP said.
