At least ten people were killed on Monday by twin suicide bombings that went off in a crowded market in the town of Fotokol in northern Cameroon, an eyewitness told Anadolu Agency.
The Cameroonian authorities have yet to confirm the attacks, but similar incidents in the past have usually been blamed on the Boko Haram militant group.
Fotokol is a town and commune in the Logone-et-Chari Department, located in Cameroon’s Far North Region.
In February, violent confrontations erupted in Fotokol when the Cameroonian army attempted to retake the town from Boko Haram militants.Last Mod: 13 Temmuz 2015, 13:49
