U.S. President Barack Obama said an investigation into an attempted car bombing at Times Square will seek to determine if a suspect in the case had links to foreign groups.
Speaking about the Saturday night incident after a suspect was arrested on Monday, Obama said "justice will be done" in the case and vowed the United States will not be intimidated.
Faisal Shahzad, 30, a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Pakistan, was arrested late on Monday at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York as he tried to take a flight to Dubai.
Obama said the FBI and related investigative agencies have the experience to interrogate Shahzad.
