They said that the prison authority was rejecting to provide them with the necessary medical care, which further worsened their already deteriorated health conditions.
The prisoners tabled a petition with the prison authority in which they complained that they suffer peerless medical neglect in addition to the fact that they were refused visits by the prison doctors, according to the prisoners.
They highlighted that captives with toothaches had to wait for two straight months for their turn to see the prison's dentist.
They said that the diseases rampant amongst the helpless inmates included diabetes, hemorrhoids, prostate cancer, hernia, and renal disorders, among other maladies.
On the other hand, the Palestinian internees held in the Ofer detention center were reportedly experiencing the lack of detergents, a matter that led to the spread of different diseases amongst them.
