Turkey's culture ministry organized a competition on all Islamic art fields and announced the winners.
The arts that won the compete in the 15th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition, will be exhibited.
According to the statement issued by the Press and Public Relations Consultancy, competition's award ceremony and exhibition will take place today at the Ankara State Painting and Sculpture Museum.
In total, 361 artists participated in the competition with one work and 116 works will be exhibited. Accordingly, the competition was done in the fields of "Islamic Calligraphy", "Illumination", "Miniature", "Tile Pattern" and "Ebru."

17 works out of total 32 in the field of "Islamic Calligraphy" will be exhibited. Seyit Ahmet Depeler's "Prayer", Abdurrahman Depeler's "Tekke Plate" and Mustafa Parildar's "Ah Min'e1-Ask and Halatihi" (O Love and its states) received awards in this field.
Out of total 110 works, which were delivered for the "Illumination Contest", 43 were chosen for the exhibit. Yesim Cubukcuoglu's "Caption", Hatice Unal's "Love and Peace" and Fatma Esra Yeniyurt's "İcazet Hilye" won the achievement award in this field.
48 works out of 129 in the field of "Ebru Competition" will be exhibited. Tuba Balcıoglu's "Gala Flower", Firdevs Calkanoglu's "Lily Flower", Naciye Detseli's "Daisy Chair Ebru", Gulden Gurdamar's "Ebru", Mustafa Karacocuk's "Evil Eye" and Omer Sabuncu's "Pavo" won the prizes
In addition, 4 works out of 60 in the "Miniature Competition" and 4 works out of 30 in the field of "Pattern Tile Competition" will be exhibited, none of the artists considered for the achievement award in these fields.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
