Albania PM proposes to host Italy nuclear stations
Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha proposed Friday hosting Italian nuclear stations on his country's territories, after Rome faced problems getting national approval for setting up installations for the production of nuclear energy, KUNA reported.

In an interview with "Claudio Scajola" newspaper, he said his country cooperated with the International Atomic Energy Agency over nuclear energy, and looked forward to working with other countries in this area, including Italy.

He said the Albanian government would be contributing to the financing of the Italian project, adding that his country could resort to the private sector to study marketing nuclear energy in the Balkans and Italy.
