Another leftist lawmaker resigns from Turkey's DSP
Recai Birgun, deputy of Democratic Left Party (DSP) from the western province of Izmir, resigned from his party on Friday.

DSP's number of deputies at Parliament dropped to 8 after Birgun's resignation.

The distribution of seats at Parliament is as follows;


Justice & Development (AK) Party: 338

Republican People's Party (CHP): 97

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP): 69

Democratic Society Party (DTP): 21

Democratic Left Party (DSP): 8

Freedom & Solidarity Party (ODP): 1

Turkey Party: 1

Independent: 9

Vacant: 6
