Ataturk Photograph Exhibition Opens in Netherlands

An exhibition including photographs of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, kicked off in Almelo city of the Netherlands.

Turkish Ambassador in The Hague Selahattin Alpar and Consul General in Deventer Hidayet Eris inaugurated the exhibition organized by Almelo municipality, Turkey's consulate general in Deventer and Association of Ataturk in Almelo.

Taking the floor in the inauguration, Alpar said Turkey recorded great successes on the way designed by Ataturk and the exhibition is of great importance in regard to introduction of the current position that was achieved by Turkey, which is a democratic, secular and social state of law.

The exhibition at Almelo Library comprised of 50 photographs of Ataturk will be on display till December 21st.
