Secretary General Ki-Moon informed Erdogan that he appreciates Turkey's efforts to establish a 'Caucasian Stability and Cooperation Platform'.

Erdogan conveyed his concerns to Ban Ki-Moon on recent developments in Kirkuk that have caused tension.

Prime Minister Erdogan requested efforts of the UN to end the tension in the region while Ban Ki-Moon thanked Turkey for its cooperation with the UN.
