Malaysia will be the first country in the region to fly to Bosnia-Herzegovina when the air agreement between both countries is signed early next year, a report said.

Bosnian Minister of Transport and Communications and Malaysia's transport minister signed the agreement on Monday, Bernama news agency said.

Bosnia's Ambassador to Malaysia, Ensar Eminovic, was quoted as saying the agreement was expected to be implemented by year-end or early next year.

Eminovic was quoted as saying currently, Bosnia has four international airports and its air transport providers had not enough capability to fly long distant.

Bosnia has established air links with its neighbours like Croatia, Serbia, Austria and Turkey.
