EU and NATO to stay in northern Kosovo
"Our mission, as agreed by member states, covers the whole territory of Kosovo," said the EU's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, after meeting NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.

Solana's comments came two days after members of an EU planning team fled their office in the divided city of Mitrovica amid violent protests by the Serbian minority.
