Foreign exchange reserves of the Turkish Central Bank climbed up to 67.378 billion USD as of May 29, the bank said.

Foreign exchange reserves of the Turkish Central Bank climbed up to 67.378 billion USD as of May 29, the bank said on Thursday.

The reserves were 66.746 billion USD on May 22.

In its weekly bulletin, the Central Bank said that Turkey paid back 10.14 million USD of foreign debt between June 1 and 3. Turkey's foreign debt repayment amounted to some 4.4 billion USD since the beginning of 2009.

Turkey repaid 15.7 billion USD in 2008.
