Forensic report confirms Indian rape in Kashmir

The Forensic Science Laboratory report has confirmed that two young women were gang raped and then murdered in Kashmir last week, Kashmiri Media Service said.
Indian Authorities has claimed the women drowned. Residents say the two women, aged 17 and 22, were abducted, raped and killed by Indian forces in Shopian town, 60 km (37 miles) south of Srinagar.
Findings of the forensic laboratory Srinagar testified that Asiya and her sister-in-law, Nilofer, were first gang raped and then brutally killed in Shopian on last Saturday, the report said.
"The FSL report confirms the initial post-mortem report which had said that the victims were gang raped," report the local daily English newspapers in Srinagar.
The visceral report as well as the report of cloth samples established that the duo was gang raped and then murdered.
Asiya, 17, and her sister in law, Nilofer, 23, a pregnant went missing on May 28 from an orchard at Nagbal Shopian where they had gone for some work.

Indian forces killed a Kashmiri young on Thursday in a protest in which at least 40 people were injured, hurling teargas on his head, the police and witnesses said.
Indian security forces have been accused in the past of human rights violations, including rape and extrajudicial killings.
Maenwhile, ersidents said that Indian policeman molested an eighth class girl student in Baramulla. People took to the streets and staged demonstrations in the area, KMS reported.
