Helicopter crash in Afghanistan kills 4

Four people were killed after an Afghan army helicopter crashed in central Afghanistan due to bad weather, officials said on Monday.

The Mi-17 helicopter went down in Salar district of Wardak province, where the weather was foggy, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

At least four people were killed, said the Wardak provincial police chief. Authorities recovered three bodies from the burning wreckage, he said.
