Early counting in the Irish capital showed the "no" camp ahead in the country's referendum on the European Union's Lisbon treaty, said political party monitors known as "tallymen" who watch the count.
Tallymen told Reuters that in Dublin, five constituencies showed the "no" camp ahead, with three evenly divided and one in favour. Dublin accounts for about a quarter of the country's electorate.
Correspondents for public service broadcaster RTE in other parts of the country also said early counting showed "no" in the lead.
