Israel's 'security walls' overwhelm journalists and politicians in Ankara
Sparking worldwide reactions for building a wall between the West Bank and its soils, Israel also received backlash with the security measures imposed on the countries hosting Israeli statesmen.
A special security tent pitched at the entrance of the hotel in Ankara , Olmert stayed last week, did not escape the attention. When State Minister Murat Baþesgioðlu's visit to the same hotel, where Olmert was staying and having meetings, coincided with Olmert's moment of leaving the building, Baþesgioðlu's car wasn't allowed into the yard of the hotel for security reasons. He had come to the hotel for some other program. When journalists asked the Turkish police why the minister's car hadn't been allowed, they said, "This is the security today. If it happened to be the prime minister's car, it couldn't enter either." Güncelleme Tarihi: 20 Eylül 2018, 18:16
