Fourpeople have been killed and 12 wounded after a Taliban suicide bombing nearAfghan security force vehicles in the centre of the capital, Kabul.
KamaludinKhan Achikzay, an intelligence director who was driving to work, was wounded inthe attack, according to a statement by the Afghan intelligence services.

MullahDadullah, A Taliban military commander, claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Theattack targeted "US spies", he said, speaking by satellite phone froman undisclosed location.
Theattack took place during rush hour just before shops opened in the AsmayeeWat area of the city near government and business buildings.
"Inthe attack four innocent civilians were martyred and another 12 civilians werewounded. The intelligence director survived the attack," the intelligenceservice said in a statement.
Securityforces sealed off the area and sifted wreckage from the blast.
SherMohammed, a witness, said: "I saw a motorcycle park in front of twosecurity pickup trucks and explode.
"Ihelped carry three bodies. Four people were also wounded."
Four Afghan medical workers have also been kidnapped from Zhari district, 30kmwest of Kandahar city on Tuesday, Afghan health officials said.
AbdulQayoom Pakhoa, a health department spokesman, said: "The teamfrom Kandahar Health Department was abducted by unknown gunmen."
Violencehas risen in Afghanistan with the end of winter as the Taliban step up acampaign of suicide attacks.
Afghanistanlast year suffered the worst fighting since US-led coalition forces removed theTaliban from power in 2001.
