Jyllands-Posten said on Tuesday it "regretted" offending Muslims but stopped short of issuing an apology.

The Editor-in-Chief of Magazinet, Vebjoern Selbekk, said he "regretted if the drawings offended Muslims", in an article published earlier this month in the online edition of the small publication.
