Military base in Turkey attacked with mortars

Militants attacked on a military base in southeastern Turkey with mortars, injuring a soldier.

A group of militants threw ten mortars on the gendarmerie base in the town of Cukurca in Hakkari, near the border region with Iraq.

Turkish troops repulsed the militants. A soldier was injured in the attack. He was rushed to a military hospital in the region by a helicopter.
