A Turkish military training plane crashed in the western part of the country, but its two crew members managed to survive, military sources announced on Friday.
CNN Turk, in a report posted on its website, quoted Turkish military sources as saying the plane crashed during a training mission in Balikesir province, west of the country.
The two crew members were able to jump from the plane using their emergency parachutes, it pointed out.
The survivors were transported to a nearby military hospital for treatment.
The concerned authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
