However he said that Hizbullah will never accept targeting the just and sacred cause of the Resistance.
Meanwhile reports said that US Ambassador to Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman continued to interfere in Lebanese internal affairs telling senior Lebanese officials that the time has come to get rid of Hizbullah.
Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned that the course of recent events in the Na`emeh region south of Beirut and in the Riyad El-Soloh Square in the capital affirms an attempt to divert the arms of the resistance to the internal arena. However Sayyed Nasrallah underlined this will be one of the hardest and most impossible things to happen. He added that supporters of the resistance will protest in streets and bear the beating, but they will never use weapons.
Sayyed Nasrallah was speaking during a meeting with a delegation from the Lebanese Audiovisual Council headed by its chief Abdul Hadi Mahfouz.
Mahfouz quoted Hizbullah`s Secretary General as saying that the party can tolerate being targeted with everything even with insults, but that the arms of the resistance is a sacred cause.
Mahfouz also said that Sayyed Nasrallah believes that the governmental crisis can be resolved through dialogue, while stressing that the only side who would benefit from a total internal chaos is the American-"Israeli" side.
He quoted Sayyed Nasrallah as saying "We are against major sects imposing their positions on others. No country can be built without the participation of all groups. But what also draws my attention is that the March 14 powers say that they alone decide the fate of Lebanon. What about more than a million people who took to the streets on March 8, aren`t they Lebanese?"
Mahfouz Sayyed Nasrallah believes that it is possible to solve the current governmental situation, and if this is not possible, he would agree with General Michel Aoun`s proposal for a national unity government and if this is not possible, then let there be early elections and the majority will eventually go to whoever wins it.
For its part, MP Michel Aoun`s Reform and Change bloc called for putting an end to all disputes and oral duals at this quote "very dangerous and critical" stage.
The bloc added that it is instead required to establish a comprehensive dialogue based on national standards and fixed positions.
The Lebanese Assafir Daily, meanwhile, quoted senior officials as saying that American Ambassador to Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman had recently discussed the governmental situation with several senior Lebanese figures, and told them that it is time to get rid of Hizbullah`s arms in order to receive full support from the US who will be backing the Lebanese government when it begins this process.
