Palestinian official kidnapped in Gaza

The director general of the Palestinian finance ministry, Hashem Abu Nada, has been kidnapped by gunmen in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Maan news agency reported Monday.

A group of 15 gunmen reportedly entered finance ministry offices on Sunday night and abducted him.

Abu Nada, formerly the director general of the office of late Palestinian president Yasser Arafat, had reportedly been suspended from his position for reasons which have not been disclosed. Last Mod: 28 Mayıs 2007, 15:42
