The full plenary of House voted 184 with one abstention and one against to dismiss the impeachment complaint, the Congress website reported Monday night.

House Committee on Justice Chairman Matias Defenser said the panel found the complaint filed by lawyer Roberto Rafael Pulido lacking in substance although it earlier decided the complaint met the constitutional requirement on the sufficiency in form.

The roll-call vote took less than two hours in a session presided over by Deputy House Speaker Raul del Mar and later by Speaker de Venecia. A total of 210 members answered the roll call.
