Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is to spend his vacation during Ramadan holiday in Mugla, a city in southwestern Turkey.

Prime Minsiter Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan departed from Esenboga Airport in Ankara on Friday evening. Along with his family, Erdogan will spend their vacation in town of Akyaka in Mugla province.

Erdogan has been convalescing in line with recommendations of his doctors since Tuesday evening when he was released discharged from hospital following a nine-hour treatment after he suffered a sudden drop in his blood pressure, which was later diagnosed as hypoglycemia, or lack of glucose in the blood.

Early on Friday, Erdogan left his house in Ankara for the first time after he was released from hospital to extend condolences to a deputy of his party who died on Thursday.

Doctors vehemently advised Turkish premier to have a rest until he is back to full health and all schedules and meetings of Erdogan have been cancelled since then. Erdogan used to spend almost all religious holidays and most weekends in Istanbul, where he served as a mayor between 1994 and 1998.
