Rally of Turkey, eight round of World Rally Championship (WRC), will take start on Thursday in Mediterranean province of Antalya.

Drivers from 30 countries, such as Sebastian Loeb, Mikko Hirvonen, Chris Atkinson and Petter Solberg, will tackle 19 tests covering over 1,105 kilometers passing near several ancient sites such as Olympos, Perge, Chimera, Myra, Phaselis and Silyon.

Rally of Turkey made its debut in the World Rally Championship in 2003 and returns to this year's calendar after missing a year in 2007. The event is a rough and rocky gravel rally.
