A 28-year-old St. Paul, Minn., woman was charged with child neglect Tuesday after allegedly leaving her 1-month-old baby in a car seat on the ground near a Minneapolis interstate Monday night so she could go turn a trick, The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.

A 33-year-old woman was charged with child endangerment after her 4-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter were found wandering shoeless in downtown Steubenville, Ohio, WTOV-TV in Steubenville reported Thursday. Christie James allegedly told police she fell asleep after drinking and could not find her children when she awoke.

In Salisbury, Md., a 29-year-old mom is accused of abandoning her 3-year-old son behind a municipal trash can. Christine Nock of Fruitland was charged with child desertion, The (Salisbury) Daily Times reported Wednesday.

In Carroll County, Ga., a 41-year-old mother faces felony involuntary manslaughter and misdemeanor reckless conduct charges in the death of her 5-year-old daughter, who was mauled by a neighbor's Rottweiler. Tiffany Pauley was killed July 12. Florence Pauley was charged Tuesday, WXIA-TV in Atlanta reported.
