Serbia to sue states recognizing Kosovo at ICJ

Serbia will file lawsuits at the International Court of Justice against the U.S. and all other countries that recognized the state of Kosovo, the official Tanjug news agency reported on Tuesday.

Serbia to sue states recognizing Kosovo at ICJ
Since the outgoing U.S. administration has recognized the false state of Kosovo, it will face charges by Serbia, the report quoted Branislav Ristivojevic, advisor to the Serbian prime minister, as saying.

If the U.S. does not annul its decision, Serbia will bring it before every international court, Ristivojevic said.

This is another action Serbia takes against countries that recognized the declared independence of Kosovo.

Serbia recalled its ambassadors from the U.S. and some other countries soon after they recognized Kosovo.
