Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said on Wednesday that Turkey offered opportunities for European investors.
"2009 is a problematic year. Several problems have occurred due to global crisis. However, all of them are temporary. Turkey has an excellent dynamism," Simsek told reporters.
Simsek is currently in Brussels to attend "Turkey-Belgium: Business and Investment Opportunities Meeting".
Commenting on his talks with the European investors, Simsek said he relayed Turkish government's eagerness to boost mutual trade and investments.
"Everybody abroad believes in Turkey's potential. Turkey is a promising country despite the crisis. Global crisis in no way created a negative impact on views towards Turkey. Turkey's medium and long term outlook is considerably positive," Simsek said.
