'Turkey and Jordan committed maintaining peace'
Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said strong dialogue between Turkey and Jordan.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said Saturday that Turkey and Jordan were committed to work toward maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East, citing a strong dialogue between the two countries.
"Our mutual aim is to further develop relations between our two countries in every field," Babacan told a joint press conference with his Jordanian counterpart Salah al-Bashir.
Turkish foreign minister said a memorandum of understanding was signed during the meeting in order to establish a political consultation group between the two countries.
Babacan also stated that issues such as developments in the wake of Annapolis conference, Lebanon, Iraq and Kosovo were also on the agenda of the meeting.
Jordanian FM Al-Bashir said on his part that terrorism should be condemned with strongest terms possible, adding that terrorism hindered economic and social development.
