President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree approving a draft intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and Turkey on the cooperation and mutual assistance in the customs area, Belta news agency reported.
The presidential press service said that the agreement defines the terms of cooperation and providing mutual assistance in the customs area for the prevention and investigation of the violations of the customs law. This agreement will help raise the efficiency of the customs bodies of Belarus and establish a closer cooperation with the Turkish customs services.
The agreement is to be signed by chairman of the State Customs Committee, Alexander Shpilevsky.
