All schools were recessed in southeastern province of Mardin till weekend to keep students protected against swine flu, the governor said on Monday.
Mardin Governor Hasan Duruer told the A.A correspondent that two students in the province were tested positive for swine flu and schools were recessed till the weekend.
National Education Ministry recessed all education institutions across Turkey on October 30. The buildings and gardens of these education institutions will be disinfected against the H1N1 virus.
On Sunday, a 29-year-old patient died in Ankara from swine flu which was the first death from this disease in Turkey.
