Senior representatives from airport operators around the world gathered for a committee meeting of the Airports Council International.

Senior representatives from airport operators around the world gathered on Wednesday for a committee meeting of the Airports Council International, a federation of international airport management companies.

The three-day event will discuss technical, operational safety and security issues in airport management with the participation of CEOs of 50 airport operators.

Alexander Laukenmann, head of the ICF Airports said the ICF was set to take over the operations at the International Terminal 2 of the airport.

The ICF currently operates the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal 1 at the Antalya Airport.

Laukenmann said the ICF was also set to build a new domestic terminal for the Antalya Airport which was planned to completed in 11 months.

Airports Council International is a federation of more than 600 member airports and hundreds of associate members in more than 100 countries and territories.
