The chairperson of a Turkish confederation said on Wednesday that Turkey needed to make amendments to its labor legislation.
Tugrul Kudatgobilik, chairperson of the Turkish Confederation of Employers' Unions (TISK), delivered a speech at the 97th ILO Working Conference General Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
During his speech, Kudatgobilik said that "flexibility" should be increased in order to meet the "guarantee" need of Turkey's social legislation.
"Apart from that, in accordance with ILO norms and agreements, Turkey should make legal amendments in working life in order to protect the rights of workers," he also said.
