The 28th Artistic Billiard World Championships will take place in northern Turkish province of Kastamonu from September 30 to October 4.

Turkey to host 28th Billiard World Championships

The 28th Artistic Billiard World Championships will take place in northern Turkish province of Kastamonu from September 30 to October 4.

Twenty-four billiard players will participate in the championships.

Haci Arap Yaman, the defending champion; Serdar Gumus, Baris Cin, Yavuz Oney, Senol Oztas and Koray Kirman are representing Turkey in the championships.

Nubuyasu Sakai, Haijme Watanabe and Kouhei Kano of Japan; Kevin Tran, Michael Hammen, Jean Reverchon and Michel Parra of France; Sander Jonen, Martin van Rhee, Rob Scholtes and Manfred Hekerle of the Netherlands; Xavier Fonellosa and Juan Carlos Cuadrado of Spain; Yong Seok Jeong of South Korea; Walter Bax and Eric Daelman of Belgium; as well as Thomas Ahrens and Franz Heigl of Germany are the other participants.

The event will be broadcast live both by Turkish state-run TV channel, TRT, and the Eurosport.
