Turkey's Sahin joins Turkic-speaking states meeting in Azerbaijan
Turkish Parliament Speaker Sahin attended a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries in Baku.
Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin attended a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries (PATC) in Baku, Azerbaijan on Monday.
Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov, Kazakh Parliament Speaker Oral Mukhamedjanov and Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker Aitibai Tagaev also participated in the meeting.
Sahin told A.A that they discussed the draft which was prepared by parliamentary secretariats of the four member countries, adding that the proposals in the draft were accepted unanimously.
Sahin said that the draft would be presented to the approval of the general assembly on Tuesday, and PATC would start its activities as a very important organization after the approval of the draft.
He said that the organization would increase the cooperation and solidarity between the countries.
