Turkey's Tekfen says net profit 12 mln TL in first half

Turkey's Tekfen Holding said Tuesday its net profit was 12 million TL (nearly 8 million USD) in the first half of this year.

Tekfen Holding operates in construction, agriculture, real estate and finance industries.

The company said in a statement that its turnover was down 2 percent when compared to first half of last year to 1.2 billion TL.

Tekfen also revised its year-end projections and said it expects a total sales of 2.3 billion and a consolidated net profit of 60 million TL.

Tekfen also gave information about future projects and said it undertook three international projects this year worth 515 million USD in total in Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan.
