Turkish FM, Arab League head to join Cairo meeting on Syria-Iraq dispute

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Wednesday a quadrilateral meeting will take place in Egypt between Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa, foreign ministers of Iraq and Syria and him.
Speaking to reporters prior to his departure from Ankara's Esenboga International Airport for Cairo, Davutoglu said that Turkey's increasing activities in the region and international role reflects on Turkish-Arabic relations.
In Cairo, we will discuss the developments in Iraqi and Syrian relations, Davutoglu stressed.
Turkey pays high attention to developing relations between Iraq and Syria, Davutoglu said.
In response to a question on the normalization of relations with Armenia, Davutoglu said that he plans to hold talks with the leaders of (Turkish) opposition leaders, political parties and all related institutions on the issue in the upcoming days.
Ahmet Davutoglu will proceed to Amman, Jordan late in the evening on Wednesday.
