Turkish minister calls more trade volume between Turkey, Eurasia
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the "Turkey-Eurasia Foreign Trade Bridge" conference hosted by Turkish Confederation of Businessmen & Industrialists (TUSKON) in Istanbul, Tuzmen said Turkey was eager to explore and exploit business opportunities with Eurasia.

"We should primarily seek to make the Black Sea a free trade area, to maintain cooperation at the Caspian Basin and to incorporate economic activities in these two areas with those of the Mediterranean," Tuzmen told the conference.

"And this is how we could rebuild a prosperous Eurasia which is integrated with world economy," he said.

Tuzmen also said Turkey was considering what he called "logistic centers" and was ready to build these centers in "south Russian region" and the southern Turkish province of Mersin.
