Turkish minister to discuss EU in France
Turkey's chief EU negotiator is set to arrive in Paris on Thursday for a series of meetings with French officials.
Turkey's chief European Union negotiator is set to arrive in Paris on Thursday for a series of meetings with French officials.
Egemen Bagis is scheduled to meet Secretary of State for European Affairs Pierre Lellouche, UMP politician Michel Barnier, Claude Gueant, general secretary of the French president, and Jean-David Levitte, diplomatic adviser to Nicolas Sarkozy.
Bagis is expected to discuss with French officials Turkey-France relations as well as Turkey's EU accession talks.
The Turkish negotiator will attend on Saturday a concert at the Theatre du Chatelet as part of activities under Turkey Season in France.
Bagis will also meet Henri de Castries, the CEO of the Axa Group, which is the main sponsor for Turkey Season in France.
