Turkish PM: Completed 'democratic move' to help Syria
Turkish PM Erdogan said they wanted to end terror (in Turkey) with "the democratic move".
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday they wanted to end terror (in Turkey) with "the democratic move".
Speaking at a fast-breaking dinner held in the honor of Syrian President Bashar al-Asad in Istanbul, Erdogan said that their goal was to end tears of mothers and stop the bleeding.
I am pleased to see that Syria shares the same sensitivity and excitement as Turkey about "the democratic move", Erdogan stressed.
Once completed successfully, "the democratic move" will help make Syria a winner. Syrian progress, development, economy, commerce, stability, welfare and tranquility will all be winners once the (democratic move) process is completed, Erdogan noted.
We do not want to see the Middle East remembered with problems in the world. We wish to see the region overcome its problems. I believe that we can be successful in the region. The solutions to be found for the problems in the region should come from within the peoples of the region, Erdogan also said.
