Turkish PM discuss scientific policy with US advisor
Turkish PM Erdogan met with Dr. Zewail, a member of the U.S. Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, in Istanbul.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Dr. Ahmed Zewail, a member of the U.S. Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, at the Prime Ministerial Working Office in Istanbul on Friday.
Erdogan's meeting with Dr. Zewail lasted around half an hour and focused on scientific and technological policies between Turkey and the United States.
Prime Minister Erdogan separately received the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Dr. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, in Istanbul on Friday.
Erdogan and Ihsanoglu had talks regarding Erdogan's upcoming visit to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on January 19 and 20 during which Erdogan will visit the headquarters of the OIC.
