A Pakistani television station showed on Saturday what it says was the double agent who killed CIA agents in Afghanistan with Pakistan Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud.
Private television station AAJ showed a video of the bomber speaking in English with Mehsud sitting beside him. It said the video was made before the attack.
Mehsud was the leader of the Pakistani Taliban umbrella organisation, the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and was blamed for numerous suicide bombings and other attacks in the country.
"Jordanian and American intelligence had offered him millions of dollars in exchange for spying on the mujahideen (holy warriors). But he rejected wealth and joined the mujahideen," said AAJ of Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, a Jordanian.
Seven American CIA officers were among the dead when al-Balawi, a "double agent" recruited by Jordanian intelligence services to inform on al-Qaeda, blew himself up at the base in Khost province.
The channel quoted him by his online persona Abu Dujana al-Khorasani as saying that he "shared all secrets of Jordanian and American intelligence with his fellow (militants)".
AAJ television said that Balawi had turned down offers of millions of dollars from the United States and Jordan who wanted him to spy on fighters.
He shared intelligence he had gathered from the United States and Jordan with fellow fighters.
