Taking the floor in a special meeting held in Washington Institute, Dailey said US was sharing intelligence with Turkey (as was stated by President Bush).
Bailey said the Iraqi government was responsible for terminating the PKK threat within its borders now, in a way they believed was appropriate and added that they preferred a political solution.
Replying to a question as to what exactly he meant with "a political solution" Bailey said, "I mean a political solution both in Turkey and Iraq."
Referring to global counter-terrorism in his speech Dailey, said killing and imprisoning terrorists was not enough to eradicate terrorism.
Dailey underlined it would be appropriate to offer alternatives by forming free trade zones, establishing rule of law, giving quality education, and organising recreational facilities.
Dailey said poor people were more prone to become a tool of terrorism.
