West Bank PM hands establishing Palestine state charter to Abbas
West Bank PM Fayyad handed a document to the Palestinian President Abbas a document "Palestine: End of the occupation and Establishment of a State."
West Bank Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on Monday handed a document to the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on a government update entitled "Palestine: End of the occupation and Establishment of a State."
The document reflects upon the foundations of a Palestinian state on the occupied land in 1967 over the next two years.
It is also 13th Palestinian government's agenda, Maan news agency said.
The agenda spells out government priorities in several fields, including assessments on the performance of each of the West Bank ministries and institutions, with a focus on good governance and efficient management.
However, the Palestinian government has held a series of meetings in recent weeks, which drafted the document after the announcement of Fayyad for the need to prepare a plan for a Palestinian state during the next two years.
