The 12th edition of the DokuFest -- an international festival of documentaries and short movies -- opened Saturday in Kosovo's Prizren night with the screening of "Stories We Tell", an award-winning documentary by Canadian director Sarah Polley.
Organizers are expecting to host around 200 guests, and movies will be shown in eight theaters around the city until August 25 with 250 films from all around the world, mostly from Kosovo and the Balkans.
As the part of the festival, a number of workshops will be held, including one on making low budget movies.
The festival will also feature host a panel discussion on human rights with participation of several regional human rights activists, including Zarko Puhovski, a Croatian academician and activist from Croatia, Kosovar journalist Veton Surroi, Serbian human rights activist Natasa Jandic as well as American filmmaker Joshua Oppenheimer.Güncelleme Tarihi: 18 Ağustos 2013, 15:06
