A Muslim woman, with coopearation of Hanif Islam and the Cultural Foundation, that has been active in Hungary many years within many Turks, translated the Holy Quran to Hungarian language.

The woman says converted to Islam after affected by Muslims who she works together.

Foundation's executives introduced the new Hungarian translation of the Holy Quran to media and citizens during a press conference held in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary.

Istanbul's Fatih Mosque Imam Osman Sahin, Turkey's Austrian Embassy Religious Affairs Undersecretary Seyfi Bozkir, Iraq, Pakistan, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Egypt, Qatar, Malaysia ambassadors, deputies from Hungarin Parliament, Turks and Hungarians living in the this country attended the meeting. Some Christian clergy and Jews also participated the program.

The program started with recitation from the Holy Quran and azan by Fatih Mosque Imam Hafiz Osman Sahin.

Halima Zsuzsanna Kiss who translated the Holy Quran to Hungarian said translation took 3 years and there is no such study in Hungary.

Stating that previous translations did not satisfy anyone, Kiss said Hungarian translation is controlled by the Muslim scholars and approved by Hungary’s Muslim council.

Turkish state TV TRT's Sufi Music performers also gave a concert during the program.
